We refer to these painting as "fields" because they remind us of row upon row of plowed earth with small seedlings breaking through. There is something comforting and yet thrilling about this texture. You just want to run your fingers down the tactile rhythmic rows. Please do. It's acrylic paint. Enjoy! You won't hurt it. There is a banded area where the pattern and color change. At the bottom of the band we've attached a long, hard, thin reed. A collection of small black pebbles runs along the reed making a pattern that leads the eye to the center small cairn made of a larger pebble and tumbled colored glass. 

The canvas is framed in a contemporary black wood floater frame, with the image forward rather than recessed.

Hangs easily on a standard picture frame hook. 10 pounds.
