SGZ-001
A very calm and minimal composition with ombre fades of gray and sand colors. The textured gray is suggestive of the weathered wood of an old pier in a secluded part of the beach that you were curious to investigate. The narrow, lighter colored part is so reminiscent of the patterns left behind in the sand after water has receded. Of course, you've found treasures on your walk: three perfect off-white beach stones in shallow recesses and close by, a watery blue niche with corkscrew-like twigs and even more nestled stones. These are the rewards of wandering away from the crowd. These are the simple pleasures of just being aware. So easy. It's all right there.
Framed in a contemporary black wood floater frame where the sides of the artwork are visible, giving the sense of a solid object rather than simply a painting.
Easy to hang horizontally or vertically, just about 20 pounds.
73 inches x 18 inches X 3 inches.
